Sold!

In September, inventory of homes was up 25% from the prior year, and the market was slowing. Would the rennovated 1908 Crafstman home, the focus of many months' labour, sell for a good price?

Why yes. It received multiple offers, and sold for $25,000 over asking price, in under 10 days! :) It's difficult to compare a home to its peers, since no two are alike. However, these success metrics indicate that the home competed well with others in its neighborhood.

Average for neighborhood

32 days on market

$257/square foot

Monte’s House

10 days on market

$320/square foot

Now the next question is how much the market will deflate before I buy anew...?

Hiatus at an End

I've not posted here in ages. I hope that the reader will forgive me, as I have good reasons. A family member was terminally ill. The past four months have been been filled with the sale of my house, the move-out, caregiving and hospice, and the holidays. Now, I'm able to turn my focus back on relocation to a new city.
