I snapped an opportune shot of Microsoft's Zune Bus sitting behind chainlink fences in a budget hotel lot on the north end. No doubt it was in Austin for the purpose of cashing in on the SXSW cache. See? Cool people like Zune. If you give them free stuff. Now, I'm no fan of iPod. In fact, you could call me antipod. iPod helps ordinary people, who are in actuality grinding their way through soul-crushing banality like everyone else, feel special.Zune, it seems, can also make people feel special. Very very special. If you are carrying a Zune, and thinking that it makes you cool, which bus did you ride?

Yes! From Illinois, I had a phone interview that led to a position at Pluck Corp. They make community-building features for large news sites. Yesterday, the company was recognized in an article entitled "USAToday.com Registrations Up 380% Since Makeover".
